The world of publishing and communications has changed so much in recent years. It’s been incredible to witness, and in many ways, I’ve changed along with it. A typical workday for me today looks nothing like my first day on the job over fifteen years ago.

But no matter how many cutting-edge tools I use or how many new methods I learn, there’s one thing that I believe should never change: the care and dedication that an editor devotes to a text.
